There are four Ski Resorts to choose from within a 90 minute drive from Cooma.
For further information give the Cooma Visitors Centre a ring to explain your options or contact

CHARLOTTE PASS

At 1765 metres, Charlotte Pass Ski Resort is the highest resort in Australia. Completely snowbound in winter accommodation is limited so bookings are essential. The Resort is only accessible by oversnow transport departing Perisher Blue. There are day tripper passes also available at affordable prices.

PERISHER

The biggest ski resort in the southern hemisphere, Perisher has 4 interlinked resort areas. Perisher's village and terrain sit above the snowline giving a true on-snow experience and better snow reliability. Home to Australia's only Superpipe, great range of terrain for all levels and Snow Tube Park.

SELWYN SNOWFIELDS

Well known as the 'family' resort and located in the north of Kosciuszko National Park. It is a day resort with the closest accommodation in Adaminaby. Selwyn allows the family to learn to ski and enjoy the day within a smaller area than the bigger resorts.

THREDBO

Thredbo has terrain to suit all levels from the gentle slopes of Friday Flat to the long Supertrail and for the more advanced black diamond, tree-lined terrain. Nestled in a pretty river valley, the true alpine village atmosphere provides great dining, nightlife and live entertainment.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

Cross Country Skiing has several disciplines - Skating, Classic, Touring and Back Country. The Nordic Shelter at Perisher has groomed 2.5km, 5km, 7.5km and 10km loop trails to choose from. There are several trails leading off from Perisher for touring. Easy access to the Main Range for back country skiing is through the Kosciuszko Express chairlift at Thredbo or via Guthega.
